Praise God for each and everyone of you guys! It does my heart so much good everytime I read a posting from each of you. Yes, I too suffer from guilt "What if...", or "If only I had..." but if you believe (as I do) that even before we are born, God already knows how we will spent every day, and He knows the exact time of our death, (Psalms 139:16) then there is nothing we can do to change when our child will die. I, too, found answers in that verse several months ago, and it really brings me comfort everytime I read it.
Your son was just young, and like so many young people, they have no fear that anything bad will happen to them. And, you know I look at so many people that drink their lives away until they are 80, and nothing bad happens to them. It all goes back to God's having a plan for us.
And I have no biblical verses to backup this belief of mine, but I believe with all my heart that God takes young people because he has work for their spirit to do in heaven. Something that is so important that he had to take them young, and so important that we Moms have to suffer for their loss. I belief Bobby's spirit is saving someone right now from making a wrong decision or helping someone make the right one. Maybe it is just my way of coping. The Bible says in heaven that we will serve God. And I think that is exactly what our children are doing right now.
