I think our children are serving God too. When my longing for Nathan get unbearable, I picture him sitting on Jesus' lap, swinging from tree branches, swimming in rivers with his friends and also pulling funny faces at himself and watching his reflection on the golden streets. He loved pulling faces in the mirror...
If you think I'm silly to say you must picture your kids on Jesus' lap, that's ok. Must tell you that I want to sit on His lap some days and telling Him everything I want to and ask all the questions I want to. He is our Father after all!
