No, Tracey, you won't (I haven't, at least, and it will be 9 years this May 22). But you do get more accustomed to carrying that feeling with you, in the midst of the rest of your life. Some days the thoughts are only a whisper--and other days, the longing and lonely thoughts seem to "roar" throughout the day.
I've come to discover that no one who lives to old age gets through this life without heartache and agony somewhere along the way. And so this is ours. The next life is heaven--not this one.
