My heart hurts for you right now. It's been over 9 years for me, and I still have not gone through Lora's closets... don't know if I ever will, to be honest. I just finally repainted the room -- the last time it had been painted was by Lora herself, and it was difficult for me to re-do something she had done. So I know just how hard this is for you, my friend (((hugs)))
As for the abuse your husband inflicted on Christina -- rest assured, he will answer one day to the Almighty Judge for his behavior. From what I've heard, abusive fathers can be very good at keeping their wives from discovering the abuse. I cannot imagine the anger and nausea you must feel reading about it now. Is your life in danger from this man, and if so, have you gotten a restraining order?
