I was so amazed to see your reply. It meant so much to me. Thank you very much. My sons name was Mike and he was injured in a logging accident. He lived in ICU for one month to the day and died. It still seems like some terrible and unreal story when I tell it. I just can't believe or accept it. I will look into Compassionate Friends and see if there is one close by. I really need the support. I am so glad to be able to talk to you like this. My heart goes out to you in the loss of your son,Dane. So young it just isn't right. How can we ever fill these huge wholes in our hearts. God only knows. Today my friend had a baby and I remembered when I carried my son and gave birth to him. It tore me apart. What bright hopes I had for him and he was a wonderful son. All I could ever hope for. Now he is gone far away from me where I can't reach him. I know you feel the same way. Debra I will pray for you and ask for comfort for you. God bless you too.
