Dear Patti Thank you so much for your response. It was so sad to here your story for I know your pain all too well. We both had wonderful sons and a life time of memories with them to keep no matter what. I too am so thankful that I had 36 years with Mike. Mike and I were very close. He and his family lived just 3 miles from me. He had a wife and 5 kids. Hayden 17, Ray 13, Kate 11, Joe 6, and Ben 4. He was my oldest and I have a son Jeff who is 33. AT Mike's service our pastor said that "Mike's life was marked by extremes; extreme loyalty, grace, love, forgiveness; extreme kidding, compassion, horsepower....He also loved music, extremely." This does explain his life and I love reading that part over and over. I miss Mike so much. Right now I am helping my daughter in law with the kids just like I promised Mike I would do while he was in ICU. He had a severe head injury and was sedated for a long time. When he came out of sedation he was unable to respond in the way the doctors would have liked. He died one month to the day after his accident of pneumonia. I question why he lived so long to suffer in such away and then die. I know there is no real anwer to that question I just have to trust God's reasons and accept it somehow.
I loved you web site and all the pictures of your Bobby. He was a very handsome guy just like my Mike. I haven't heard your song yet as my speakers weren't working. I'll have Jeff fix them for me so I can hear it. What a wonderful tribute to your son. Thank you for your prayers and I'll pray for you also. God bless you and keep you. Kathy
