Hi Debra, I noted that it't Dane's Birthday tomorrow. I know what a painful time it is for you. I want to let you know I am thinking of you.
I remember Lisa's first Birthday in heaven, I recalled how we spent her last birthday. together, and all the memories come flooding back, and it hurts so much to miss her.
Are you doing anything special to mark the day?
We decided to go out to her favorite restaurant and have her favorite meal. Then we all went to her graveside and lit candles and sang Happy birthday. It was already dark out, but it was beautiful and yet so sad to not celebrate with her anymore. It's still so unbelievable at times that she is gone. I am sure you feel the same way.
Do you want to share how you celebrated with Dane the last time? If not , it's okay. To me it helps to talk about it and all the memories.
