Welcome Trish,
My heart aches for you knowing you've lost two of your sons, I can't imagine the pain going through it twice. It's hard enough losing one child. Feel free to share your thoughts and feelings with us. We are good listeners and we really do understand. I find it helpful to share with other Moms because no one knows what it's like for a Mom.
Our daughter passed away unexpectedly two years ago. and life just has changed so much. This world isn't our home anymore , that's what it feels like to me. Every day I look forward to the day we are reunited with our children. I feel like I am living two lives, a part of my heart is in heaven and the other here. It's hard to describe.
Recently I heard the following. When a man loses his wife he's a widower, a wfie loses her husband, she's a widow, when a child loses their parent they are orphans. but when a parent loses their child, there is no word to describe it.
I thank God so much for His grace to all of us and that He promised that He will wipe away all our tears and replace it with unimaginable joy. It's what keeps me going, otherwise I would have laid down and died.
Blessings to you Trish,
Ruth
