soo sorry to hear that ruth, my son is only21 so far so good , but his silence does worry me..he and his girlfriend goes to church regulary yet, and he does slip out moments of memory and grief for his brother, he does reconize moments, when there is no stopping the tears..we were at a wedding where my son was a grooms man, and the slide show had a lot of pictures of his brother in them..they shared friends...he came up to me soon after and gave me a hug and said...i felt your tears mom...in that way he needs to know i do cry for his brother, for i miss and love him..matt...soooo much, just as i love him..it is hard to talk and share when there is addiction involved but letting him know he is soooo loved is all you can do now..he will also in time relize our children are not perfect but we need to remember all the good...all we can do is pray for the other loved ones in our life who are hurting, and can't reach..GOD BLESS RUTH..
