I don't remember if I told you already, but because my son, Stephen, can't stay sober living out on his own, even though his life is so blessed, Stephen, his beautiful, kind, sweet & loving wife, and their 9 month old little boy, left their house with all of their belongings except their clothes, moved from Georgia to Texas and are staying with us until Stephen can get himself put back together.
At first, I just felt like there was no hope at all for him, but it seems he is making progress and I do see him wanting very much to stay sober. I don't mean to get so discouraged, but life seems to be an impossible uphill crawl.
There is a great light shining through, and that is his precious little boy, who was named after my Bobby. We call him, Little Bobby. The most wonderful thing - he has a real big dimpled smile - just like my little Bobby had. I look at him and I am so amazed and filled with joy! Yes, I am using the word joy again.
God is good.
Please continue to pray for my Stephen. He is a tall, good looking guy with a huge kind heart, and very nice when he is not drinking. Pray that he will remain strong and fight his terrible addiction problem.
