Please read - I wrote this to you previously but I think you missed it. It is important.
Dear Debra,
I hope and I pray that today will be a better day for you. You have been in my thoughts and in my prayers for a while now. I know where your heart is right now, for I have been there so many times myself. Trish is right - you cannot listen to the devil because he keeps pulling you down into his dark pit filled with suffering, guilt, and terrible heartbreak - and lies. Reach out for the hand of God, and let him pull you up to higher ground, out of the deep hole that you are in. I've been down there and it is not a good place. Remember when Jesus was in the boat and the terrible storm came? Remember when Peter walked on the water and then got scared and started sinking. He started sinking when he took his eyes off of Jesus and started doubting his own faith. But Jesus reached out his hand to Him. Peter did not let go of His hand because he trusted Jesus to save him. It is the very same for you and me. Jesus will never let go of our hand, but it is you and I that must remain steadfast in our faith in Him and never let go of His hand and keep our eyes on Him at all times. God will pull you out of the hole if you will let Him.
Remember - it is one day at a time. Tomorrow will start a new day. You just get through this one.
