What I do...I always bring up my son's name to them and I don't wait on them to bring him up. I say "Bobby used to do ............" "I wish Bobby could be here with us today. He would have really loved this." "Bobby used to love to.........." Debra, I do this whenever I feel like talking about him. I don't want them tip toeing around me trying not to upset me, so I take the first step and talk about him to them. It just makes it a whole lot easier on them when they know I like talking about Bobby. It is not that they have forgotten Dane, Debra, it is they are trying not to upset you.
