I have a little grandson who lives with me. My youngest son Stephen, his wife Danni, and their 12 month old son moved to Texas from Georgia in December and they live live here with us. The baby's name is Bobby. He looks nothing like my Bobby, but the miracle is he has the same big-dimpled smile as my Bobby, and even though his eyes are brown, he has long, long eye lashes and the same bushy eyebrows as my little Bobby. And he LOVES music just like my Bobby did. Whenever he hears a song he will rock back and forth and sing and sing. Bobby always did that when he was little, and all his life music was his passion.
When my Bobby first died, I wrote a song "MY Little Man" and part of it says... "I cherish my memories when he was two. We'd laugh and sing the whole day through. Oh, if I could just go back again, when Big Bird and Ernie were our closest friends, and reading books by Dr. Seus was the most important thing I had to do." The other day, Little Bobby and had been watching "Dora, the Explorer" on tv and then we were reading a Sesame Street book with a picture of Bid Bird on the cover, and he looked up at me with his big dimpled-smile. I thought to myself "Look at this miracle! I really have gone back again." When I wrote those words, three years ago, I had no idea I would be sitting here today with another little Booby. Sometimes I will hold Little Bobby close and I think "You are not my Bobby, but you sure are my special little miracle. God really loves me."
