To all of you dear dear mothers...It is indeed a privilege to have children..to be a mother...comes with all the ups and downs of raising children..not an easy task...lots of joy...a lot of tears and sweat....but we do it because that is what we want to be..Mothers...During this holiday especially, our hearts are ripped open once more with pain....I remember a quote in the Bible and all of you should take a minute to look it up..when Mary took Jesus to the temple when he was a baby and Simeon spoke to Mary..34Then Simeon blessed them and said to Mary, his mother: "This child is destined to cause the falling and rising of many in Israel, and to be a sign that will be spoken against, 35so that the thoughts of many hearts will be revealed. And a sword will pierce your own soul too." Everytime I hear or read that verse..I can feel the sword piercing MY SOUL for that is what it feels like....Jesus died for all of us so that we can have eternal life...ETERNAL LIFE with our children....oh how I look forward to that..in the meantime, I will keep that promise in my heart and remember what Christ told his apostles..." But he who endures to the end will be saved" Believe and endure..Trust and Obey....have a blessed Mother's Day...Rose
