I hear you Sandra. Since Lisa died, I don't really enjoy any special occasion anymore. There is always that cloud there, empty space. She so enjoyed family times and special occasions much more than her brother. She treasured being together. so it's all changed and somehow we are trying the best we can to endure those times. Often I will go to her grave, sit, drift away in my thoughts, and be still. I try to always come back to the fact that although we miss her terribly, she is at total peace and filled with joy unimaginable, and I know she wouldn't want to come back. She'll be waiting for us when our time comes and then the real special occasion begins. bigger than anything we can possibly imagine. HAng in there, Sandra. The best is yet to come.
