Ruth I love that your husband gave you that card from you dog. They are truly sent from GOD to comfort us.My dog has been by my side more than any other human being.He has seen me at my most lowest times when no one else is around.He is my sons dog so he gives me the comfort and loves thats so pure and natural that only besides my husband can give.I dont know what I would have done if I didnt have him by my self in these most sorrowful times.And I know he feels my pain so bad some times that I hide when I cry so he doesnt cry.What a gift GOD gave us when he created these animals for us! My husband does cope differently.He has very strong faith and keeps me strong with mine.He knows Dane is in Heaven and that we will see him very soon.Even though he is still layed off he has great faith God will provide. We both feel that NOTHING can be as devasting as loosing Dane.We would live under a bridge to have him back.Wishful thinking Debra
