Hi Billy.
It was nice to be able to come and see you in the south. I was one of the two that put their hands up when you asked if anyone knew what you were singing about. When I bought Devils Ground, I actually searched the net for some of the phrases.
Pauline (Haydon Bridge) filled in some of the gaps (e.g. 'clippy mats) when we came up to walk the wall in 2007. There is one line (from Shiftin..) that I think sums up a lot of the problems people have at the moment - they don't want to 'make do with what they've got'.
