I saw you perform live many years ago when you were touring around the small towns of Florida - I suppose that is what you were doing because it was in a dinky little bar in Lake City. I saw the ads that you were going to be there and that is why my husband and I went.
I told you that I really liked your music because it brought to mind an image of a free spirit. You signed a card for me, "From one free spirit to another". I still have it.
If I had known at the time that Goethe was your great great grandfather, I would have been so impressed I would have fainted dead away.
I am now a 65 years old great grandmother and I still like your music. Your "Bertie Higgins - Just Another Day In Paradise" album is my all time favorite album. It is in my car's cd player and I play it often.
