I've been a massive fan of Bertie since "Key Largo" was released and was a massive hit in Germany, where I was stationed at the time and first heard that song on AFN, and then on German Radio.
I have a dear friend who knows Bertie from FL and I've heard so many cuts never released that were absolute magic when Soup and I were with Nancy and my wife Cathy were going up to VHPA a number of years ago.
I'd give anything if Bertie would release some of the songs he wrote and recorded for later release. Soup brought me some stuff that Bertie autographed that I treasure.
I'm still learning computers as I'm old,but if anyone can find a way for me to encourage Bertie to record the stuff that Soup and I and Nancy and Cathy listened to in Soup and Nancys van, I'd really appreciate it.
