Well heck, there's 40 minutes wasted, but at least I ended up here where I can get the answer. Key Largo came across XM Radio while I was working, and I was tapping my foot and thinking, "hey, I really like that lady's voice" (the backing vocals - "here's looking at you kid...").
I've spent 40 minutes Googling in a futile attempt to find out who the background singer was on the studio version, the single.
So, who WAS it?
