Posted by Cathy --- ERBP I own 8 APBT's (one of which is my neutered pocket pit house dog who is 3 years old). Starting over in my kennel so we will own only 2, other than my house dog, before long ...... until we find what we are looking for. They are like potato chips to me, I can't just have a couple. I have been raised with ABPT's. My mom and dad have baby pictures of me (30 years ago) with my first APBT, Pete, who used to drag me around the yard by my britches leg, which I pretty much begged him to do. I have owned a couple of Labs and one Rottie after I moved out on my own but not for long. I knew that APBTs were the breed me. They have always been pets to me, but I started hog hunting years ago and that made me want to do more with my pets. I started working with a couple of them trailing deer. I went to obedience classes with a couple. Then I went to have River UKC registered and Mr. Crutchfield invited my husband and I to his show. That opened a whole new world to me along with opening my eyes. I now have something that I can do with my dogs, I love it, they seem to love it, I'm meeting some wonderful people and learning a lot. I'm looking forward to showing and getting into weight pulling now and hope that I will be able to do this for a long time.
