Posted by Tee---Durham Kennelz I started out with pitbulls about 89-90 with just yard dogs that were trained to be agressive when I was growing up in Chicago, Il. After I got settled here in Louisiana I was unable to get a dog until I purchased my first house. Thats when I looked on the internet and found a dog. When I went to pick it up, it was at a MSAPBT show and weightpull......once I saw the weightpull, I was hooked....I hooked up with Jerry Slowey and trained for weightpull and watched him show "Hawk" and all of a sudden wanted a show dog. I got "Gator" and the fun began.....now I have trained and showed dogs to multiple CH titles including a weight pull all-star last year. I have also messed around with obedience training with Don Abney, and a few trials. I must say, I am a student of the APBT.
