Posted by Sarah Lee Below is an exerpt from the new regulations: "The age of the junior as of January 1st of each year shall determine the division in which the junior competes for that entire year. If a junior reaches an age that advances them to the next age division, they will not move up to the higher class until the following calendar year."

Thanks for the response Angela. Unfortunately, I just learned about UKC's changes to the junior program..which prevent my daughter, who is turning 8 this month, from moving up from subjunior to novice junior until 2008. So, looks like she won't be able to compete in February.
