breeders that are doing this don't have enough of the blood to do it.......I am possibly the only breeder that has enough of that linebred old blood to do it if I wanted to......if you notice alot of the oldie look comes off BTK blood, Cord aquired dogs from my yard and bought one directly, Cord was trying to create his own breed by adding english, oldies, bullmastiff, he called them "Imperial Bulldogs" and he sold them also as ABs. Reda, is doing his own recent crosses. You have to understand there was a guy name *Louis Maldarelli, who was mixing oldies and english with ABs in the late 1980's to early 1990's both Cord and Reda were his proteges. JP, look at what the breeders are using as breeding stock, all of it is so scattered-bred you couldn't get that look without adding english or oldie....if you think that....you are just bulsh1tting yourself.

*(The best thing Lou did for the bulldogge was to breed Bruiser, Beth, and Herman! The worse was to over breed VV CH. Beamer to anything that came through his yard with a pulse!![]()
