A non-doer is very often a critic-that is, someone who sits back and watches doers, and then waxes philosophically about how the doers are doing. It's easy to be a critic, but being a doer requires effort, risk, and change.

Hey Crystal,
After many years of experimenting with different foods, I've come to the conclusion that just because it is so called "top of the line" or expensive, really it ain't all that much better than the average priced foods.
I've used everything from Pedigree, Iams, Eagle Pack, Nutro Natural Choice, Solid Gold, Go Natural, Innova, and finally Orijen. Pedigree I used way back in the early 90's with some of our Dobies, but all the others have used for my Corsi, and they all gave them loose stool and in some cases expressed anal glands. In fact with Orijen, it seem to be a cutter for him as he lost nearly 10 pounds in the first 2 weeks of using it. I didn't like that so I stopped using it after a month.
I did swear by Nutro for almost 10 years, until I recently read about some product recall and several people in the States complain that there dogs were getting sick from it, and in some cases, dying.
Since then, over an year ago, I have switched to Costco brand Kirkland Lamb and Rice, and have nothing but good things to say about it. It is priced fairly inexpensive ($30)for a 40lb bag. With 8 dogs, I really do save a bit of money this way and all the dogs love the food and have no problems on it. If you research it online, it does rate quite high compared to other foods the same price.
Hope this helps.
Stan
