Sorry to bring this back up, but I dont read here often, and after reviewing the "money" thread, I just couldnt help myself.
Seems that some folks forget that a tournament cicuit is, like it or not, a BUSINESS. Remember the private enterprise concept? I have been running a business for 25 years, and I'm not going to divulge how much I do or dont make to you..........why should they? As long as they tell you how much is being paid out, you either play, or you dont. Does B.A.S.S or FLW Outdoors tell you how much they make?
I dont care if they are getting wealthy.
A tournament is an OPPORTUNITY to fish competitively, not a requirement.
