I felt bad for the fishermen that didn't weigh in their fish before the scales closed, but the bottom line is; weigh in your fish asap when the ramp is very crowded. For a couple of reasons. You want to make sure that the fish are weighed and back into the water quickly and avoid the posibility of being disqualified. Like I said, I have empathy for those who were unfortunate on the 14th. but hopefully a lesson was learned.
: Did anyone have trouble getting your boats out
: at the tournament on July 14? I just want to
: express my extreme disatisfaction over how
: long it took to take out. I was in the truck
: waiting in one line for over 45 minutes
: because "fishermen" in the other
: line were not courteous enough to do an
: alternate merge. Because of this delay due
: solely to lack of "sportsmanship"
: from others, my partner and I missed the
: weigh-in by 5 minutes and were not allowed
: to weigh our limit of 5 fish. Changes need
: to be made in how future tournaments are
: done at rt 5 so this won't happen again to
: guys who fish their guts out all day in the
: hot sun and are lucky enough to scratch out
: a limit, feeling good on the way in and then
: at the end of the day, have it all crash
: down and nothing to show for it.
