So far this tournament season, my partner and I have had mostly good experiences in regards to sportsmanship. However in the July tournament and yesterdays tournament we had a fellow competitor come into a very small creek behind us. Once planing to within 20 yards of us, setting down and continuing to fish right up to and then passed us. This same person did the same thing in yesterdays tournament. Now this time he didnt plane in on top of us, but none the less, fished right up to us and right around us and continued on in front of us. Dont get me wrong. He was very nice and talkative to us as he did this, but it still seemed to me to be a bit of poor sportsmanship. I personally do not do this. I will not come in and fish within a reasonable distance around another tournament competitor. I would like to hear from others on this matter. Those guilty of this know who you are and sure arent making any friends.
