Gentlemen,
First let me introduce myself and tell you all a little about myself. My name is Steve Davis and I recently moved to Waldorf, MD from Jacksonville, NC. I am originally from North Carolina and I am a active duty Marine and have been for 24 years. I work at the Naval Annex in Arlington. I have been bass fishing seriously since 1998, owned (3) boats (Tracker, Triton TR186, Triton TR21X). I still own the TR21X. I have been a member of the ABA off and on since 2002 fishing in District 15 North Carolina-East. I fished in a local club there in Jacksonville (Eastern Carolina Anglers-ECA) since 2000 where we fished places like Kerr Lake, Lake Gaston, Santee Cooper, Falls Lake, Neuse River, Chowan River, Roanoke River and the Northeast Cape Fear. I also fished a tournament trail ran by a local Sporting Good Store out of New Bern, NC Field & Stream the year of 2005 until I deployed to Iraq. I have heard nothing but good things about this tournament series and would very much like to be a part of it. I don't mind fishing as a non-boater and if I tell you that I am going to fish then you can count on me being there and doing my part as well as paying my share. And you can count on me fishing as hard at 3 o'clock as I was at 7 o'clock. I haven't fished here that much, but I have managed to fished the Potomac 6 times and Lake Anna 3 times. I know that fishing the Potomac and fishing the James are two totally different rivers, but I am willing to put in the time to try and figure it out and I have quite a bite of experience fishing tidal waters. I don't know a lot of fishermen here but the ones that I do know either are fishing different tournament trails or already have committed to a partner. I don't know if anyone knows Ken Kirk, who was one of the people that recommended this tournament to me, but I have known Ken for years and he can tell you about me.
