You are right catman, all these guys that wanted to fish so badly would have been the ones 2 hrs into the tournament complaining about having it. Im sure your fun fishing trip wasn't all that fun. You may have cguht em, but I bet you were miserable doing it!!

Man, I'm kicking myself in the behind for not visiting this site sooner and leaving some kind of humorous message, but heck, I don't even get a chance to go into the store as often as I probably should. I catch a bunch of mess when I do, but it's mostly just some nut asking for an autograph, or Wayne doing a backspin on the floor trying to imitate my performance at the Classic. Anyway, I commend you guys for rescheduling the tournament. Fishing in that crap would have been completely miserable. The pros do it huh? Um, somebody want to tell me WHEN? They've cancelled days for high winds and storms, and last time I checked, most of the people fishing are working class folks, with jobs and families, meaning that's where the support comes from. Plus, the "pro" tournaments are not ONE DAY events. Now, you get in an accident in a local tournament, get hurt, out of work, what happens to the people that depend on you? What happens to the people running the tournament when they get a phone call from a family lawyer?? Damn right you guys, cancel it and fish another day when peoples lives and property aren't in that great a danger. You don't have to support someones ego just so they can say they toughed it out and won a Castaways Tournament in 35 degree weather. Your reputation just gained about 100 points in the local stock market, but it's not like it wasn't already way up there. If anything Kim & Wayne, you might have pissed a few people off, but you've gained a lot of respect from a lot more than you pissed off, from my point of view and for what it's worth. The tournaments are run better than any other in the area, the participation is freaking outstanding, and more participants will be glad to be part of something ran so EFFICIENTLY and SAFELY. Did I spell efficiently rite? Wouldn't want to offend anyone by misspelling something. Great website, tournament series, and people. Yes, they definitely made the right call. Even after driving four hours from DE to get there, I wasn't disappointed to have the tournament cancelled. No sense in putting our lives at risk, especially since I still haven't run the river more than two times, once being Good Friday. I would have been a disaster waiting to happend. Thanks guys! Thanks guys! : I'll see you all in May! : : `Rod : whats up de guy i remember talkin to yall first thing that morning. we were in the nitro fish and ski tied off behind yall. yea ill say it again thank god they called that off. we did go out for a few hours after that and caught a couple but it was very nice tthough having the boat back on the trailer by 12:00.
