My first and foremost concern is for our sponsors. My negociations and contract agreements are between them and me. Many wish not to make it public knowledge of there donations. Our product sponsors also are aware of a $2.00 raffle drawing. The amount of product that they donate at these events is at their discretion. They are fully aware of their return with their investment. Thousands of dollars in product are raffled receiving around 400.00 to 500.00 per tournament. In the seven year history of our tournament trail we have never raised enough money to donate $5000.00 to special olympics. As always the same dollar amount presented to Special Olympics at the end of the year is the same amount given to 1st place at the classic. If you are a sponsor by chance you must have unserstood how our tournament series works. At any time if we do not live up to your expectations you have the option to pull your product. My second concern is to the anglers that fish with us to see to it that they receive the best payback possible for a $80.00 entry fee. If you are one of our tournament anglers fishing with us, then we appreciate you fishing our series. Somewhere along the line there was something about our tournament trail that made you make the $80.00 investment. Maybe careful consideration should be taken before donating product or making a a $80.00 investment in June. We run a fair and honest tournament trail. The number of Sponsors and anglers involved with us must indicate that point. If there is any futher information needed contact Wayne Andrews at 804-706-9100

Kim, This e-mail covers several subjects. My team thinks your paybacks are fine, after all we are fishing for a charitable cause and to have fun. If prize money is the driving reason for fishing the tournament the fishermen should turn pro. If a barrier has been erected across a pit, my team is not going to cross it, our choice. As individuals we should complain to the appropriate authorities about the barriers. Many voices are better than one tournamment director. We consider it the same as throwing lures across a dam in the back of a creek in the Turkey Island area. We are not going to do that either. How about the teams that have a boat that can run to the Chick and back? Some of us don't have a boat like that, should the Chick be off limits? We still sign up to fish even though we know we can't run to the Chick. We think that this is one of the best run tournament organization that we have experienced and I hope the criticism doesn't spoil it and it does help a charity. Ranger692
