Who cares who goes into the blue barrel pits???? Look where the tournaments are being won month after month. The Pits have a small window of opportunity to snatch a big bag. The entire river chain is on fire go find your fish else where. If you are crying chances are you not catching. So spend more time finding fish and less time worrying about who goes in the pits. You can have them. Nothing but a marry-go-round!!!!!

You are right. So please don't go in there in September or October! Your missing the point dude....This site has been over polluted with the pits. People are more worried about who enters the pits then they are about catching there own fish. Look at the winners over the past few years in all the bigger tournaments on the river and you will clearly see that the fish are not coming from the pits. But it appears you are worried more about following some black and white boat around than your finding your own fish. --Previous Message-- : You are right. It is not about the tournament, it is about what is ethical and right. I don't care what anyone says, those two pits being closed have helped the fish population, they have been able to spawn without having their eyes crossed. Look at the Patomac, they set areas off limits every year so fish can spawn without harrassment.
