2008 DieHard Battery Contingency Program
Castaway Tournament Trail
Program Description:
The 2008 DieHard Contingency Program is an opportunity for Angling Teams in the Castaway
Tournament Series to win valuable rewards. There are opportunities to win for the James River
and Kerr Lake Trails as well as a DieHard Team of the Year Award.
Prizes:
• The highest placing team of each tournament that meets the requirements below will
received a $5O ($100 for full boat & tow) Sears Auto Center Gift Card (DieHard Gift
Card).
• The highest placing team of the Classic event(s) that meet the requirements below will
received a $100 ($200 for full boat & tow) Sears Auto Center Gift Card (DieHard Gift
Card).
• The "DieHard Team of the Year," provided the team's boat meets the requirements
below will receive a $200 ($400 for full boat and tow) Sears Auto Center Gift Card
(DieHard Gift Card).
Program Rules & Requirements:
Individual Tournament, Classic and DieHard Team of the Year:
1. Each participating team must register (once for the season) prior to the start of any
tournament with the local Sears Auto Center program facilitator. Teams are only eligible
to receive prizes for tournaments that take place after registration.
a. $20 registration fee per team
b. Registrants will receive 2 DieHard patches and 2 DieHard caps
2. Each participating team must place a DieHard patch on their tournament shirts or wear
DieHard caps during the tournament, weigh-in and award proceedings.
3. Participating teams must have a minimum of 1 DieHard Marine battery installed in the
highest placing boat of the tournament.
4. DieHard battery(s) must be installed during the time of the event, weigh-in and award
proceedings.
S. The recipient team's boat must be registered to one of the participating team members.
Proof of registration may be required.
6. Full Boat & Tow qualifiers - all batteries installed in the highest placing boat and tow
vehicle must be DieHards. The tow vehicle must be registered to one of the highest
placing team members. Proof of registration may be required.
7. DieHard Team of the Year - Highest Ranking Team of the Year - must meet registration
requirements as a participating team and fish a minimum of 2 tournaments in the
season as a registered team.
DieHard Marine batteries are available through Castaway or any Sears Auto Center. DieHard
Platinum Marine batteries are also available through Sears.com.
