the castaway tournament staff would like to thank the teams that partisapated in our efforts to bring our tournament trail to kerr lake however with little support it has become to costly to continue we regret that the june 7th event was our last this is how it will play out the 9 teams that paid for the full year up front will gain automatic berth to fish in the castaway 100. if you fished 1 event you may fish 3river events if you fished 2 events you may fish 2river events and if you fished 3 events you may fish 1 river event. we will be contacting each team within the next few days for your options in closing i would like to thank the teams that showed up and the staff that worked so hard and gave up their time to work on this trail kim, vickie,jimmy,charles,tray,lonnie,charles, hollywood thanks wayne

what you said is, the fishermen from buggs, only need to fish 4 tournaments, or pay for the season,to earn a berth in the top 100. the folks on the James have to fish 6 to be sure of getting to the top 50, so they can fish the top 100 don't hardly seem fair,do it.

bill the rules for this year were posted in february, how the kerr events would work if they folded were also included.nothing has changed so let me break it down the kerr events had about 42 teams compete out of those 42 teams about 16 teams fish the river events that leaves 26 out of the 9 teams that paid for the year 5 fish the river events that leaves 4 now down to 22 now in all your years of fishing how many teams from kerr area will come fish with us on the river i hope all of them but we may have 10 so if that is the case that means the river events just got handed 40 more spots that means now 90 from the river. dont know where you are in points but i feel you and jim will be in there
