Dave, October on Chautauqua is prime time trophy season. The most productive baits are tubes, dropshots and crankbaits. Fish weed wedges were there is a shartp dropoff. If you get a warm day, you can catch smallies shallow on spinnerbaits and spooks. We have an open team tournament the 2rd weekend in October, you are welcome to fish with us. Randy
