Entering Tournament without a bass boat

Hi everyone. Im 15 years old and I love fishing. Its all I talk about 95% of the day and I go whenever I can. I am anticapting the October open tournament. Me and my dad are likely going to split the cost. Now what I want to know is can we enter the tournament without a bassboat? We have a 1970 glastron LOL. How many anglers that enter use coolers as a livewell? Thanks
