Nolina wolfii seeds sprouting

I just noticed over the past week or so some N. wolfii seeds are sprouting. I haven't been on the board much and noticed down below Ian mentioned one of his seeds sprouted as well. My seeds have been outside since early summer in a container with the seeds laying on top with some pea sized stones as a covering. Perhaps they are sunlight sensative and sprout in fall? Ian, are your seeds receiving day light?
