Agave gracilipes

Hey All, I'm just wondering if anyone has some information on this species! I have an OLD guide book entitled 'Wildflowers of the Guadalupe Mountains and Sand Dune Country Texas' which mentions this species from a few areas within the scope of the book. It also states that this species is actually a hybrid between A. neomexicana and A. lechugilla (which, if correct, would make the actual scientific name A. X gracilipes). Does anyone have any additional information on this species? The Irish's don't mention it in their book... Thanks for any help! Paul
