maybe its just me but agave havardiana does not grow well here on the oregon coast---the foliage starts to rot in the wet winters. a. gentryii, a. americana ssp. protoamericana, at least one form of salmiana, and several others seem to do alright but havardiana is definitely a problem child. any experiences with this plant to the contrary along the coast????
