Next leaf should be an 'agave' leaf, rather than a grass leaf, flattened and maybe even some little 'milk teeth' 8^) Then, with each additonal leaf, it will look more and more like a proper agave. It usually takes a few years for the plants to show their proper character, though - that is why it is next to impossble to identify agaves from seedlings.
