I Transplanted a Dasy. wheelerii. Once when I moved from Ky to Sc. I transplanted it form zone 6a to zone 6b and it was the latter part of January. I had grown the clump from seed for many years,. I gave it to my brother. IT is still growing and thriving. IT did loose a couple of pups after transplanting, but looks great now. Poinmt being , at least in my case, it did fine even thought it was not the optimuim time to transplant.
