This is a first for me to find one in the Dallas area. It is growing in heavey shade which is not good. However it still looks good. Now I'm wondering how old it is etc... It is in an neighborhood were most of the houses are being torn down so I've been thinking of making them an offer for it. It's in an hispanic neighborhood so I'll bring my wife along in case I need her to translate.
Paul, Those plants are about 10 years from seed so it does take a while. Once in the ground they grow faster so the sooner they are in the ground the bigger they will get. A lot of what I have are still in community pots. They will go into a larger community pots next month. Hopefully in a season or two, I will put them in their own containers. After that, they are ready to be planted. Field growing all these types of plants are the best way to go for growers IMO. Once they get up to a good size they can be repotted and sold for big money(I hope). It is to early to comment on D. lucidum.
