I've noticed that some of my Agave seedlings and small plants in the greenhouse really start picking up growth in February, even before it is very warm. Days are still relatively short and nights cold, yet off they go!! It is really surprising. I think all of them have grown about a leaf each so far this year. And keep in mind, I am much farther north than some of you, in a place that tends to be cold, rainy and dark in winter. Has anyone else noticed this? I know not everyone has a greenhouse, though.
