I checked out the list and I'll admit to not knowing enough about what is rare and really exciting, but I think that I'm going to get together an order. Paul Spracklin had a really excellent comment on the Growing on the Edge board about wasting time and effort on plants that will always disappoint. You can push the limits, but at some point, that gets old (and expensive and allows the neighbors to say, "What were you thinking?!? Those don't grow here."). If I can grow up a batch of relatively hardy Agave or the like, I plan to offer a few of them to those neighbors.
