I've got quite a few of the agaves on the list, but many are still too small to try outside. I've lost A. polyacantha v xalapensis every time it was left out - two or three are dead now I think. They were decent sized plants too, at least one foot in diameter. Since I still have lots, I'm trying again this year and so far it's still alive but there is a lot of damage.
I lost a fairly large A. broomii, that came from a nursery, last winter. I'm trying one i started from seed, A. broomii tarkaensis, this year. A little damage so far under a rain cover, but not too bad. Hopefully, this one will make it!
I don't think I heard of the last two agaves from RPS before. Will have to have a look.
