Google Goblin Valley, it's in between Arches and Capitol Reef. Out of all the places we've been it is one of the most memorable. It's a state park and very hands-on - you just go in and wander everywhere; no marked trails, etc. Also, Dead Horse Point is just outside Moab and is a must see while at Arches.
