Is is just me or is the Socrates dialogue a little one sided. I mean not only does Euthyphro pale in comparison to Socrates's rhetorical abilities but it seems like because of this Socrates just talks to poor student in a circle making him contradict himself. It is evident that Socrates completely begs the answer that he is looking for by the end of the dialogue.
I wanna know how Socrates would have responded if the student understood his question at first and replied that something is holy because the Gods love it.
