Hi everyone, I spoke with the bookstore yesterday to find out what was going on. So, here's the story:
1. Only ONE book is required for Philo/PS 27. It is the course reader, I am not sure of the cost. It will be more than the reader used in the past, mainly because it contains more material, but also because copyright fees have increased. Cheer up, you don't need to buy anything else. My understanding is that copies are now available in the bookstore.
2. Do NOT buy the book on the Cold War, it is for another class I teach, it was ordered by mistake for Philo/PS 27. So for those of you who wondered what is going on here, it is not your error, it was a mistake in the book order process. For those of you who did purchase it, do return it to the bookstore, you will get a complete reimbursement. Sorry for the inconvenience.
