Can there be two just sides? In the article, I read that there can be one just side at most. But if self-defense and treaty were just reasons to enter a war, and if Canada and Japan had promised to protect each other had either of them were at war, and if Canada fired a missile at France, so France enters the war to defend itself, and Japan, to honor the promise, too, enters the war, arent Japan and France justified in entering the war?
Or is it that France's self-defense is merely morally permissable, and shouldn't have entered the war?
