Yes, the rest of the chapter tries to apply the 5 criteria to the American decision to fight the war in Vietnam. I don't think students nowadays are familiar enough with the war itself to evaluate Lackey's arguments here, so I just cut it off. I thought he gave enough applications in the section I assigned.
